The Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King Liverpool has appointed us as marketing consultants for the Lutyens Crypt. The Crypt, which is situated beneath the world-famous Cathedral, was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and now operates as a major visitor attraction and also as a corporate events venue.

We are working on the venue’s marketing strategy for 2011, which is aimed at increasing visitor numbers and private events bookings. The campaign will include social media, direct mail and advertising. A key part of the marketing strategy is to engage with regional organisations in the leisure and business tourism sector, with a view to raising awareness of the venue.

Canon Anthony O’Brien said of the appointment. “We’re delighted to have Bolland & Lowe on board for this exciting project. We appointed the agency as they have a very strong track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns for a number of high profile organisations, particularly in the leisure and tourism sector. Also, having worked with the agency on a number of projects in the past, we know the standard of their creative output is extremely high.”
