In a world where emails, texts and tweets dominate our day, the joy of letter-writing appears to have been somewhat cast aside. In the form of Letters of Note and Letterheady, freelance copywriter Shaun Usher is reminding us what we’re missing.

Whilst Letters of Note deals in the contents of correspondence, Letterheady is a paean to letterhead design, or as Shaun describes it, ‘an online homage to offline correspondence’.

Notoriety, genius and well, Timmy Mallett, rub shoulders on Letterheady and it’s easy to lose yourself in exploring the site.

Andy Warhol’s design is surprisingly muted but no less beautiful, whereas architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s abstract design dominates the page.

To describe the 2 Charles, Peanuts creator Schulz and cult leading, murdering maniac, Manson, as different would be a slight understatement. As Charlie Brown and Snoopy while away another day on Schulz’s 1966 letterhead, Manson’s unsettling design from 2006 is the very antithesis of the adventures of Woodstock, Peppermint Patty and co.
